Read all of the documents involved carefully. A franchise opportunity must disclose what their guarantees are, what you are required to do to maintain your franchise membership, and how much they charge for a franchise if it is more than $500.00.

Make sure the franchise you are investing in provides all of the training you need to be successful. How involved the training is can be crucial if you are new to business ownership and it is one of the things that makes buying a franchise such a good deal for first timers. Find a franchise that involves a business you enjoy. There are so many available franchise opportunities that it is virtually impossible to not find something that you truly love.
