nice article... my husband and I bought a 2008 model mini and it scoots along quite well, around 4.5L per 100 k's. I would recommend getting the brand new Cooper D, it apparently runs at around 3.9L per 100 km. Plus, they look groovy too. My husband thinks he's in the Italian Job, ha!
